At Awaken Discipleship and Training Center we don’t want to let the year end without first saying THANK YOU, to thank God primarily because we are convinced that he is the one who gives in us, wanting as well as doing, the same is the purpose, the same is the goal, on a day-to-day basis this ministry continues. But what would we be without all of you, blessing our lives, (Just as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that body, being many, are one body, as also is Christ 1 Corinthians 12:12 ). What would be of us, without all these parts of the body of Christ, faithful brothers willing to give their lives in service for the gospel for the one who loved us first.
There are a huge number of people, churches, ministries that have blessed this place, with their words, with their advice, their teachings, their smiles, their encouragement and all those prayers that they lift up every day praying for this place, we are so full of the love of God through you that every time we see you arrive with a plan of evangelism, outreaches, conferences, etc. All that joy surrounds us, embraces us, encourages us to continue and becomes a constant reminder of God's love towards us.
Thank God for the privilege of serving in this ministry that has allowed us to meet more brothers in the faith, expand his kingdom and be constantly exposed to the greatness of his miracles.
Thank God for every pastor, teacher, brother in faith who has taken the time, the challenge and has decided to say here I am, send me, thank you, thank you very much for blessing our ministry through the teachings you share with us.
Thank God for every church that has decided to say here I am, send me, thank God for Awaken Las Vegas, Calvary Chapel Downey, Calvary Chapel Saint George, Valencia Hills, Calvary Chapel El Monte, Calvary Chapel Higher Ground, and the list goes on...
I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, for your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ; just as it is right for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as both in my chains and in the defense and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers with me of grace. For God is my witness, how greatly I long for you all with the affection of Jesus Christ.
And this I pray, that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent, that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
