¡Good News of Great Joy!

December is perhaps one of the most celebrated months worldwide. Christmas is the title given to these festivities. When we think of Christmas, a series of images come to mind where there is family, lights, food, gifts, decorations,etc…
But there is something deeper in Christmas, something bigger than anything we can do, every year we have the privilege of having groups from the USA come to Tijuana traveling hours by car, with months of preparation, taking their time, sometimes without sleeping, perhaps sacrificing a day of work, giving energy just to be able to bless children and adults here in Mexico. Being able to see laughter, cries of joy, hugs, is a memorable moment that becomes a fire fueled inside us, how is it possible that so many people are connected in the same feeling, in the same spirit, imperfect people with the same goal , the same mission, there has to be something deeper, something more sublime and perfect.
Awaken Las Vegas greatly blesses many local children, and other ministries of the city, with various outreaches, games, puppet shows, workshops, crafts and much more...
This year we had the perfect ending in our last meeting of the year, ending the series of The 4 Pillars of Marriage.
One of the most blessed ministries this month is the Niños del Rey ministry, with gifts, events, crafts, games, etc... and although all this is just a pretext to be able to teach the true message of Christmas, we know that we sow without knowing when we will reap, but there are small details, gifts from the Lord that encourage us to continue with the mission. This brings to mind one of our Niño del Rey students asking, why do you do all this? This was a question that paused everything around me, and made me dig deep into my convictions: What is it that motivates every believer to give?
For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Niños del Rey was so blessed this year, with our traditional store where the children could choose a gift for mom and dad, followed by our fun-filled Christmas party where we were able to take a tour discovering the true message of Christmas.
Calvary Chapel St. George visited 35 families in just 2 days, blessing, praying and meeting families from some local churches in the area.
As 2023 draws to a close, we are so aware of God’s goodness and generosity to us as a ministry. We so appreciate being a part of making disciples of all nations, from completing our Phase 2 Internship Program to closing out another successful year of Ninos del Rey. In this all, we are also aware of your part- those who give, pray and come to serve. Our prayer is that this Christmas is a time of renewed hope and joy for you and your family.
